3rd Friday Drum Circle Groove to the rhythm of the drums in this interactive and fun Drum Circle Led by Mark Zarillo, leading rhythm-centric events in CT since 2005 3rd Friday’s from 7-8:30PMish Drumming is an extraordinary dialogue that connects us with our world, our neighbors and ourselves. Drummers & dancers of all ages, genders, and abilities are always welcome. No experience necessary-beginners and experienced alike create & weave the rhythms together. Most of all, it is FUN! 🌟Dancers: we welcome your energy in the circle 🌟 Bring your favorite instrument or share one of ours. Some extra drums and percussion will be available. This will be indoors, in the Awakening Room What to bring: an instrument or just yourself Fee: $10 donation suggested-or whatever you can afford Questions? Mark draws upon his rich knowledge of West African music and culture, as well as over forty years of drumming experience, in helping others express their own rhythmic spirit. Parking: GPS MAY SEND YOU IN WRONG DIRECTION! Entrances and Parking is in the back. Driveway is right next to the big white sign that says “304 Main Street”. Follow the driveway all the way to the very back (long set of buildings) where it ends in a circle. Park there and use the rear entrance at the end of a ramp. Follow signs to the Awakening Room.
